Characteristics: The 2023 Mâcon La Roche-Vineuse from Domaine de la Denante has a clear, bright gold color with green highlights. The nose is refined and elegant, combining white flowers and the minerality of the terroir, as well as light touches of dried fruit. On the palate, a vigorous attack opens the way to a surprising but elegant aromatic explosion, right through to the finish, which is long and rounded in its development.

Food and Wine Pairings: This wine pairs perfectly with poultry, fish and shellfish, cheeses or simply as an aperitif.

The Estate: Domaine de la Denante is a family-run estate located in Davayé, in the heart of the Mâconnais region. Founded in 1975 by Robert Martin, the estate now covers 18 hectares of sustainably managed vines. The plots, located on rolling hillsides descending from the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson, benefit from clay-limestone soils that are ideal for the expression of Chardonnay.
