Pessac-Léognan - Le Souffle de Bardins - Château Bardins 2021
Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Features :
In this Graves red from the Bordeaux terroir, Merlot expresses itself with natural grace and fluidity. The wine is a brilliant ruby in color, and the nose opens with a gentle bouquet of ripe red fruits—cherry, raspberry—enhanced by delicate hints of spice and vanilla, a sign of skillful winemaking. On the palate, the attack is supple and velvety, with fine tannins and a harmonious texture. The balance is fresh without being light, offering a smooth, easy-drinking, and very pleasant finish.
Food and Wine Pairings:
This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled red meat, duck breast with figs, charcuterie, or aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C , after a brief decanting to release its aromas.
The Estate:
Château Bardins is a family-run estate located in Cadaujac, in the heart of the Graves wine region. Certified organic, the property cultivates its vines with a philosophy that respects both the environment and the vines, favoring precise winemaking techniques that allow the Merlot grapes to fully express themselves. This cuvée, "Le Souffle de Bardins," embodies the spirit of the place: a warm, approachable style with Bordeaux finesse.
