Characteristics: The 2021 Château Cru Godard is a red wine from the Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux appellation. This wine offers a rich aromatic bouquet with notes of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, as well as elegant floral touches and a minerality characteristic of the limestone terroir. On the palate, it is structured and well-balanced, with a beautiful freshness and supple tannins, offering a persistent and refreshing finish.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs perfectly with grilled red meat dishes, stews, roast poultry dishes, and mature cheeses. It also pairs well with rich sauces, such as beef bourguignon or coq au vin, thanks to its structure and aromatic complexity.

The Estate: Château Cru Godard, run by Franck and Carine Richard, is located in Francs, in the Bordeaux region. The 12-hectare estate has been farmed organically since 1998, obtaining Ecocert certification in 2010. The vines, averaging 45 years old, benefit from a unique terroir of clay-limestone soils and an Atlantic climate that contribute to the exceptional quality of the wines. The estate prides itself on producing pure wines, expressing all the freshness and richness of their terroir.
