Characteristics : The Cuvée Cardinal from Château Bel Évêque is distinguished by its deep, intense red color. On the nose, it offers a generous and complex bouquet, blending aromas of black truffle, blackcurrant, licorice, with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and powerful, with a beautiful sweetness balanced by a solid tannic structure, offering a long, lingering finish.

Food Pairing : This wine pairs perfectly with meats in sauce, game, strong cheeses, and even chocolate desserts. To fully enjoy its aromas, it is recommended to decant it before serving at a temperature of 17 to 18°C.

The Estate : Château Bel Évêque, owned by Pierre Richard, is located in the Corbières region of Languedoc-Roussillon. This estate benefits from a clay-limestone terroir, ideal for growing Syrah and Mourvèdre, and is known for its sustainable winemaking. The grapes are harvested by hand, with a long maceration and barrel aging for 12 months, giving this wine remarkable depth and richness.
